| What was Smut?
"Sexy, sparklingly shiny indie-pop heaven!
dodgy hits
and favourite fallen idols
from new wave
to new wave of new wave
from punk to Polvo"

Smut was ace. The venue was
pretty hilarious—Interzone was a big Goth/Industrial club with
that patented New York/hanging off the cyclone wire fence amidst
the smoke machines and strobes kind of feel. Well, we soon put a
stop to that. ^_^ We pretty much packed the venue out—even
pulling a few Japanese proto-Shibuyakei hipster tourists who liked
my flyer (right). DJ Jemstar and myself
had a ball. The music was pretty ecclectic too -- we actually did
play everything "from punk to Polvo". |
